Reducing general waste

Garbage sorting has progressed smoothly and the goal has been achieved

In fiscal 2020, the number of visitors decreased due to the impact of COVID-XNUMX, resulting in a reduction in the amount of general waste. Thorough waste separation in the office has progressed smoothly. We will promote these efforts so that they can be implemented throughout the entire building from next fiscal year onwards.

Garbage is collected separately into general garbage, bottles and cans, recycled paper and shredded paper, PET bottles, caps, cardboard, newspapers and magazines, button batteries, and scrap iron.
Items that cannot be collected are announced on notice, and disposal methods are communicated to tenant companies in writing.
The trash compactor in the waste processing room of the O's Building was renovated, along with the flooring and signboard.

FOCUS

For many years, we had left waste disposal to our partner companies, but by first understanding the current situation, creating a disposal flow chart, and checking the manifest, we found that the disposal was actually going well, which gave us confidence. Furthermore, by accompanying them to a waste incineration plant and reading the Environmental Bureau's booklet, we were able to gain a deeper understanding, which led to a review of waste disposal procedures and a reduction in disposal costs.
