Home » 100 Artists Exhibition 13 Osaka Exhibition
In recent years, Japanese pop culture such as manga, anime, games, and light novel illustrations have been attracting a great deal of attention from around the world.
Artists active in this field are called "eshi," in reference to the ukiyo-e artists of the Edo period.
This exhibition will bring together original artwork by 100 artists active at the forefront of pop culture.
The theme of this 13th event is "Circle."
There are many ring-shaped objects around us, such as wheels, rings, and rubber bands. In addition to these, "rings" can also represent things that are thought to be connected to form a single circle, such as the cycle of life and water, reincarnation, and human relationships that are called human circles. It can also be thought of as being connected to words such as "en," "kai," and "kan," which mean "round things," and from "ring" we can evoke images of "calmness," "peace," "harmony," and "harmony." The creators participating in this exhibition can also be thought of as being part of a creative circle, consisting of the creation of works by creators, the expression of joy and emotion by fans who accept them, and then the next creation.
