During the exhibition period, the "Blue Period Exhibition in Osaka - Is Art a Talent?
~" will be held.
Is being good at drawing a talent? Are people who go to Tokyo University of the Arts geniuses?
No, it is the result of desperately working hard every day, both with my hands and my mind. There are rules for a painting to be appreciated.
There are standards for paintings to be accepted. However, rules and standards alone are not everything in art.
The manga "Blue Period" is about a high school student named Yatora who becomes engrossed in the world of art, where there are no answers.
This is the story of our friends.
From exhibitions that relive the path to Tokyo University of the Arts, including paintings from the works themselves and immersive theater, to explanations of famous paintings,
Through various projects, we will be holding an exhibition where you can feel close to the art of Blue Period.
We will take a closer look at this world.
Your encounter with a new Blue Period, and with new art, begins now.
